What Our Family Eats

There isn’t much to say about our diet. It’s REALLY simple! As a family we all eat the same for the most part. We eat eight foods everyday: salmon, eggs, broccoli, spinach, oatmeal, almonds, dark chocolate and apples. There are five foods that we eat frequently: chicken, strawberries, blueberries, sweet potato and brown rice.

We spice it up with: avocado, asparagus, green beans, brussel sprouts, onion, olive oil, garlic, cinnamon, green tea, organic coffee, fennel, hard cheese and almond milk.

We don’t eat anything with “ingredients” with the exception of 100% whole grain bread on occasion. We’ll use whole grain pizza dough to make homemade pizza using the ingredients listed above.

Holly will also make pancakes on Sunday with: buckwheat, oats and multi-grain pancake mix.

We definitely enjoy our treats on occassion! And we prefer REAL sweets over anything artificial. They taste better and we believe can be a healthy part of an overall diet.
